Discovery and Development Young Scientist Awards 2026
Your research belongs on this stage.
The Young Scientist Award puts your work in front of over 1,000 senior scientists and R&D leaders from pharma, biotech and AI-driven platforms, with the chance to present your research on the main programme alongside the keynote speakers. It is the most direct route from your research to the people shaping the field.
The award is open to PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and early career scientists. It is sponsored by ELRIG.
What You Could Win
The top three winners in each category (Drug Discovery and Formulation and Delivery) will receive:

A trophy and formal recognition at the awards ceremony on 15th June.

A £1,000 contribution towards your travel costs

A ten-minute oral presentation slot on the main programme on 15th June in front of the full delegate audience.

How to Apply
Submit your abstract by Friday 15th May 2026.
Register using the link on this page. Once registered you will receive access to the online abstract submission form. Prepare your poster and bring it with you on the day. Winners will be notified during the week of 8th June 2026.
How Winners are Selected
Abstracts are evaluated by a panel of speakers and key opinion leaders attending the event. Scoring is based on overall scientific quality, methodology, interpretation of results and strength of conclusion.
