Speaker Biographies
Esperanza Anguiano, Ph.D., MS-MBAÂ
Dr. Anguiano obtained her PhD in Biomedical Science from Baylor University and holds a dual business degree (MS-MBA) from Temple University. She has over 20 years of experience in molecular biology and genomics research and is passionate about harnessing innovative technologies and science to understand human disease and advancing drug development. Dr. Anguiano played a key leading role in building blood transcriptomics as a tool to study human immune mediated diseases during her tenure at the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research. As an SME in genome technologies at Bristol-Myers Squibb, she supported many translational and precision medicine biomarker development strategies for multiple immuno-oncology and immunology clinical programs. She also led the translational sciences activities assessing spatial biology methods. Currently, Dr. Anguiano serves as the Scientific Market Development Director of BioPharma at Nanostring Technologies.Â
