Speaker Biographies
Shirin Elizabeth Khorsandi is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Kingâs College and a liver clinician exploring the application of computational models to gain insight into human disease. In silico, Khorsandi has modelled the mitochondrial proteome in the context of liver transplantation, embryogenesis, and primary liver cancer. Her present work concentrates on the development of in silico models to improve outcome in primary liver cancer with the aim to use multi-omic biological data to facilitate diagnostics, management stratification, and therapeutic design.
