Speaker Biographies
Damion Nero, is currently Head of Data Science at Takeda. He has 14 years of experience in Real World Evidence research and Health Economics and Outcomes Research, with background in using statistics and machine learning methods to analyse large scale datasets, including administrative claims Electronic Medical Records.
Nero also has extensive experience working with survey data and patient reported outcomes, as well as a familiarity in using statistical data packages and Python code for advanced modelling techniques.
He has worked with many leading pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies, as well as state and government agencies. Nero has also worked on all aspects of project development, from proposal drafting to protocol/analytic plan development and production of deliverables.
