About the Speaker

Oxford Global | Abbey CutchinAbbey is the oncology marketing lead at 10x Genomics. She focuses on developing evidence for using single-cell and spatial multiomics in emerging basic and translational cancer research applications. Previously, Abbey was on the Global Market Development team at Illumina and received her degree in Bioengineering from Stanford.

Abstract and Key Bullet Points:

Single cell and spatial multiomic tools provide a unique opportunity to maximize insights from precious patient samples to uncover complex mechanisms of response and resistance to immunotherapies. Learn how spatial technologies from 10x Genomics are unlocking mechanistic insights for immunotherapies in solid tumors:

  1. Visium spatial gene expression enables whole transcriptome and targeted protein co-detection with morphological context for unbiased discovery of cellular organization within tissue.
  2. Xenium in Situ enables characterization of 100s to 1000s of RNAs and multiplexed protein at subcellular resolution
  3. Spatial technologies enable analysis of the role of tertiary lymphoid structures in generating a localized anti-tumor immune response and association with checkpoint blockade response
